New Growth is shaped by the intersection of deep domain expertise, decades of hands-on experience, and an Industrial Belt perspective grounded in the reality that strengthening regional economies is hard work. Our home region of Northeast Ohio has long been defined by economic transition. We know firsthand what it means when an employer closes, people move away, and a community is forced to reimagine its future. That experience has taught us to work shoulder to shoulder with local leaders, institutions, and residents by rolling up our sleeves to help determine what comes next. We believe deeply in American communities and their capacity to adapt, lead, and create new sources of growth. Our work grows from the ground up, shaped by people across the country who are committed to their communities.
Our work extends to regions across the country, each with its own dynamics of change and opportunity. What connects these places is a willingness to bring people together, create pathways for success, and move ideas into action. Each project looks different. At times, we support corporate leaders pursuing large-scale business attraction investments; at others, we work alongside small business owners putting their own assets on the line. Some of our favorite projects center on the people who hold communities together like health care leaders navigating workforce shortages, or educators creating new programs that prepare people for meaningful careers.
Over the years, we have learned that progress at a regional scale rarely happens in isolation. Lasting change depends on the ability of corporate leaders, public institutions, and communities to work together often across different incentives, timelines, and ways of operating. Creating that alignment requires clarity and a shared understanding of what success looks like. New Growth does the groundwork that helps bring structure to collaborative processes, translating between perspectives and turning complexity into forward motion.
