University of Arkansas Cossatot (UA Cossatot) is an accredited two-year institution affiliated with the University of Arkansas System. The only Hispanic-Serving Institution in the state of Arkansas, UA Cossatot embraces diversity and is committed to improving the lives of those in rural southwest Arkansas by providing quality education, outstanding service, and relevant industry training. UA Cossatot offers degrees and certificates in more than two dozen fields and also offers four associate degrees completely online with a roster of more than 60 online college courses to date.
Recognizing a need to add grant writing capacity, UA Cossatot first hired New Growth to write a grant proposal in early 2019, which expanded into a retainer contract beginning in the fall of 2019. Services include grant forecasting and research, project ideation support, and all aspects of proposal development and submission.
In total, over the past two years, New Growth has written over $3,800,000 in four winning proposals for UA Cossatot, not including an additional $2,000,000 pending award. Awards have come from a variety of federal funding agencies; including the Department of Labor, Department of Education, the USDA, and the National Science Foundation.
