The New Growth Team has been selected to present at the 2026 National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE) Annual Conference. In partnership with the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC) and the Ohio Manufacturers' Association (OMA), New Growth will lead a session on designing statewide workforce ecosystems that connect education, industry, workforce development, and economic development partners. The presentation will highlight proven strategies for employer engagement, talent pipeline development, data-driven decision-making, and cross-sector collaboration that deliver measurable outcomes for learners, employers, and communities.

Ohio is officially one of the first 10 states selected for the new national Apprenticeship America cohort — and the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA), representing the state, received $200,000 from CareerWise USA to help expand youth apprenticeship opportunities. New Growth Group was proud to lead the proposal development process alongside OMA and statewide partners to help bring this exciting investment to Ohio.

Friends of Max Hayes will host its Annual Student Showcase on May 12, bringing together students and industry professionals to share projects, exchange feedback, and highlight career pathway skills across grade levels. This year’s event will also feature special guests, including NASA representatives and Fox 8’s “Kickin’ It With Kenny,” adding even more excitement and inspiration to the experience.
